Pregnancy

As your body changes to accommodate a growing baby, you may experience many changes within the body. Pregnancy and birth have a big effect on your body and you need the best care possible so that you can become a great mom to your baby when he or she arrives.

Antenatal Exercise Classes



These are small group classes where individual attention can be given. The aim of the classes are to prepare and strengthen your body as your baby grows and the physical demands on your body increase. Exercise during pregnancy helps to

• Reduce preganacy related lower back pain
• Improve cardiovascular fitness
• Improve posture
• Strengthen the pelvic floor

Post Natal



• Scar management of abdomen (C section incision) or perineum (following

   an episiotomy)
• Correction of Diastais Rectus Abdominus (separation of the abdominal

   muscle)

Breastfeeding
 

The cornerstone to successful breastfeeding is an effective latch. Physiotherapy can help guide you to correct latching and treat conditions such as

• cracked nipples

• blocked ducts etc.
• breast engorgement
• mastitis
• blep
