Physiotherapy

- a simple solution

“Celebrate the fact that you’re not exactly like everyone else. You are special! You are unique!”

                                                                                                 Joyce Meyer

Exercise, play, move, stretch, feel, reach, sweat, skip, dance and hug! Use your body in the way it was intended to be used. Don’t let an injury stop you - get rehabilitated.

Thanks to the advancement in medical technology, cancer can be detected early and treated successfully. However, other complications can occur following surgery and radiation such as lymphedema, which is the accumulation of lymph fluid causing a limb to swell. Physiotherapy involves non-surgical techniques to restore the size and function of the affected limb.

This practice has a special interest in women’s health. This includes conditions of the pelvic floor resulting in symptoms like urinary incontinence and pelvic pain. The pelvic area of the body is considered private and many women do not seek help either as a result of fear or embarrassment or the misconception that these problems are ‘just the price we pay for being a woman and having children’. The good news is that women’s health physiotherapy will help bring back your confidence and freedom by treating the cause of that accidental leak or the discouraging pain in the pelvic area.
